What is Awesome Custom Fields?

Awesome Custom Fields enables you to prioritize, estimate, calculate and track progress in a variety of ways, directly on Jira Cloud issues and without any coding. Added details and better visualization enhances user engagement - it makes it easier to glance at a ticket and know instantly what’s going on. Custom fields include T-shirt sizes, advanced formula, color labels, progress bar, and weighted shortest job first (WSJF).

Why is Awesome Custom Fields becoming a paid app?

Almost two years ago, we launched Awesome Custom Fields to simplify and enhance your work in Jira by providing easily configurable and visually appealing custom fields for everyone. We now support over 20 custom fields for Jira and Jira Service Management to help you work better and smarter together with your team. Initially, Awesome Custom Fields started out as an experiment. With the great feedback from you, we understood the value of the app for teams in all types of organizations.

That's why we want to invest more in developing Awesome Custom Fields to bring you even more awesome features.

We continue to put you, our users, at the center of our work. If you have requests for specific features for Awesome Custom Fields or wish to talk to us about your use cases, you can contact us at any time or vote for new features.

What will it cost?

The pricing of Awesome Custom Fields, as with all Jira Cloud apps, is based on the number of users in your instance.

You can also find the exact cost for your product billing cycle in the marketplace.

When is the app going paid?

Awesome Custom Fields will be going paid around May 8, 2024 . Please check the “Manage apps“ page if an update is available. On May 22, 2024 the free version will stop working as it reached “End of life“.

Can I still trial the app for free?

Of course! If you haven't already experienced Awesome Custom Fields, we recommend you try it out free of charge for 30 days. That way you can easily find out whether the app is a good fit for your company.

What do I have to do?

To keep using Awesome Custom Fields, all you have to do is update to the latest version. This can easily be done by you or your administrator in the "Manage App" area. You will then receive a license for the app.

I have been using the app for a while. Can I keep using it for free?

Unfortunately, we will not be offering a free version of Awesome Custom Fields anymore. However, if you have any questions about pricing and billing, you can contact us at any time. Our team is always happy to talk to you!

What about Awesome Custom Fields for Jira Service Management?

If you decide to purchase Awesome Custom Fields, the extension for Jira Service Management remains free of charge.
