In this section you can manage the publishing status, version history, and content revisions. See a description of the main features:

  1. Site: Select the link to open the site. The URL address displayed is the one used to access the site. Enabled when the status of the site is set to PUBLISHED.

  1. Pencil icon: Select to open a window where you can personalize your site’s address using a subdomain that makes the URL easier to identify. Simply type a name and when the “Valid subdomain” message appears in green, select Save.

  1. Status: Turn on the toggle to change the site status to PUBLISHED; turn it off to change the status to UNPUBLISHED. When you make changes to the site configuration, a small information banner reminds you that your changes are not yet public. You must publish or update the site manually to update the changes.

  1. Site Preview: Select the button to see a preview of your content in Desktop or Mobile format. This allows you to see how each of the settings you adjust impacts the appearance of the site.

TIP
As you adjust the settings from the Configuration section, a preview window automatically appears on the side, loading the changes in real-time.

  1. Publish site; Update site: The button label changes dynamically based on the site’s status:

  • When the site status is UNPUBLISHED, select Publish site to make the site public. If the anonymous access feature is not enabled, a message appears to confirm whether you want to make the site public. You can make the site accessible to any users, including those without an Atlassian account, if the Enable anonymous access for this space toggle is turned on.

  • When the site status is PUBLISHED, select Update site to apply the latest configuration changes.

Pushing these changes generates a new version.

  1. (More options): Select the button and choose one of these options:

  • Review changes and publish: Select to open a preview window that compares the latest published version and the draft you’re about to publish. This option is disabled if no changes were made.

  • Show version history: Select to access a summary of past versions and the current one. Restore to an earlier version and include a meaningful comment to help you keep track of your version history.

  • Unpublish site: Select to remove the site from public view, making it inaccessible to visitors.

  • Revert to last published Version: Select to restore the site to the last published version. This option is disabled if all changes have been already published.

IMPORTANT
The actions on this menu apply to the app's theme only and don't affect content changes made to the pages within a space.
