Create a Reminder in your Issue
At the top of your Issue View, you'll find a prominent button adorned with the Remindeer logo. When you click this button for the first time, a modal will gracefully pop up, offering you the chance to create your very own Reminder.

By default, your account is already preselected to receive the Reminder, ensuring you won't miss any important updates. However, you have the flexibility to choose any user who is assignable to this particular Issue. In fact, you can even select multiple users if needed, empowering you to keep the entire team in the loop.
For the users who are reminded, there's an added benefit. They have the option to decide if they want to watch the Issue and be added to the list of watchers. This way, they can stay engaged with the progress and any further developments surrounding the Issue.
Next, it's time to pick the date on which the Reminder will be sent to the selected users. Remindeer lets you tailor the timing according to your needs, ensuring that your team receives the timely nudge they require.
Furthermore, you have the opportunity to add a personalized notification message to the Reminder. Whether it's a gentle nudge, a motivational quote, or essential details, the choice is yours to make.
Once you've finalized all the details, a simple click on "Submit" will summon a success notification, confirming that your Reminder has been successfully set. Meanwhile, the selected users will receive a reference mail, informing them about the upcoming Reminder.
Now, you can easily keep track of your Reminders within the Issue View. It presents a comprehensive overview, showing when the Reminder is scheduled to go out and the number of days remaining until that date. All the essential information you submitted earlier is right there, readily accessible, ensuring that you and your team stay informed and organized throughout your project journey.
Explore the Overview
In the top Navigation bar, you'll notice the "Remindeer" App nestled under the "Apps" section. Clicking on this option will lead you to the comprehensive overview of all your Reminders.
By default, the view is filtered to show Reminders that are scheduled to send to you. However, you have the freedom to apply various filters to tailor the display to your preferences. You can filter Reminders based on those you created, Reminders involving you, or Reminders that have already expired. Additionally, a search feature allows you to locate specific Reminders by using keywords from the description of the corresponding Issue.
Upon accessing the Overview, you will find a list of Reminders with relevant information about the Issues they are related to. This includes details such as Issue Type, Issue Key, Issue Description, Status, Priority, and the latest Activity on each Issue.
Under the "Actions" section, you have the convenience of managing your Reminders efficiently. You can choose to edit or delete any Reminder as needed, giving you full control over your Remindeer experience.
For a seamless Reminder creation process, a "Create Reminder" button is available at the top left corner of the page. Clicking on this button opens a dialog similar to the one in the Issue View. However, before proceeding, you'll need to select the specific Issue for which you wish to create the Reminder.
