The "WSJF" field type allows you to manage the Weighted Shortest Job First (WSJF) value for your tasks in Jira. With this custom field, you can evaluate the priority of your tasks based on a combination of value, time, and risk.

The WSJF field type provides you with a dynamic method to prioritize your tasks according to their estimated value and available resources. Use this feature to give your team members a clear view of the most important tasks and make more effective decisions about resource allocation.


Configuration

Go to “Apps / Awesome Custom Fields” ans click “Create new custom field”. A Modal will open.

Provide a good name for the new custom field. Make it descriptive, concise, and easy to understand for others who will use it. Avoid using ambiguous or overly technical terms.

4. OPTIONAL: Setup dynamic WSJF data
