Step 2: Configure your custom field

In this step you can configure the displayed formatsprogress bar styles, size and color of the custom fieldsfield.

Step 3 (optional): Progress based on child-issues

Also you can activate a dependency, so the value of the progress is based on the number of closed child-issues .
